Taylor Dahl is an Indie-folk artist based in LA. Her heart-felt original songs, inspired by Joni Mitchell, Sara Bareilles and the Indigo Girls, blend folk, rock and acoustic soul. Her songwriting has been described as intimate, honest and raw. Born in Berkeley, CA, Dahl moved to LA to pursue her music career in 2005. Since then she has had the honor of performing at classic LA live music venues, such as Bar Lubitsch, The Viper Room, Genghis Cohen and The Hotel Cafe. Dahl headlined at South By Southwest two years in a row and continues to perform in countless majestic music venues all over Los Angeles. After a recent show at the Viper Room, she was personally endorsed as a performer by Lee Garrett (co-writer of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" by Stevie Wonder).  Dahl’s debut album, “Spinnaker Street”, “ventures into deep emotional territory [and] … conjures the artist’s musical roots. [Her] single, ‘Love Song For HP’...has the feel of Dahl’s many strong musical influences, and her searing honest, wit and soul searching lyrics make this a career defining album” (Virginia Scripps, Press Kitchen). Her most recent album, “It’s Alright”, was recorded on location in Colombia, where she collaborated with local Colombian artists to create her “vulnerable and powerfully inspired” EP.  Dahl’s cover of Bob Dylan’s, “Tomorrow Is A Long Time” is a live recording track, recorded in Nashville with Soraiya. It is an “intricately beautiful acoustic version” of Dylan’s classic that “brings new life to this love song.”  Dahl’s music can be found on all streaming platforms and her music videos, “Irish Lullaby” and “The Truth,” can be seen on YouTube. Taylor is thrilled to perform in her upcoming show on March 23rd at Bar Lubitsch, where she will continue to share her tender and impassioned truths about love with her audience.
